New Zealand's Greatest Hits

After Dissing New Zealand for terrible weather, I felt it would be unfair to leave out some of the other super amazing experiences we had there in January 2017. I had previously posted some of our more lengthy trips. I felt these were definitely worth mentioning:

Rob Roy Peak, overlooking Wanaka Lake, The Southern Alps in the Distance
Rob Roy Peak is a 4000 foot, five mile hike just outside of Wanaka. The trip offered ever expanding views. The summit, stunning. The winds, intense.

Albatross
With a wingspan of 8-12 feet, the Albatross is the world's largest flying bird. New Zealand is one of the only places in the world to see them. There is basically one place to see them on New Zealand. The large birds glided on the gale winds with ease, making clowns of the wobbly seagulls and pelicans, which struggled with the fierce winds.

Seal

Little blue penguins, in the wild

Sea Cliffs, at Tunnel Beach

Rocks, New Zealand Has Rocks

Sea Lion
